A Garda told Judge Patricia McNamara that the DPP had directed summary disposal.

Judge McNamara asked what was alleged.

The Garda said it will be alleged that the teenager went to the restaurant, ordered some food and then refused to pay for it.

He said the bill came to €48.50 and added that it will be alleged that the defendant left the restaurant with her friends.

Judge McNamara accepted jurisdiction.

The teenager’s solicitor asked Judge McNamara to make an order for disclosure.

Judge McNamara adjourned the case for two weeks for a plea or a date for hearing.
