CHLOE AGNEW’s career has brought her a long way from her Knocklyon home, with the 21-year-old singer, who has performed for the last three consecutive US presidents, now living in Los Angeles.

The daughter of Irish entertainer Adele ‘Twink’ King and Irish oboist David Agnew, Chloe was practically born on the stage and from a very young age was professionally involved in acting, singing and dancing – making her first television appearance on her mother’s TV show at four years of age.

One of the original and youngest members of internationally acclaimed music group Celtic Woman, Chloe featured on a total of 14 of the group’s albums and recorded in English, Irish, Latin, Japanese, Italian and German on their various albums, which have sold more than eight million copies worldwide – and debuted at #1 on Billboard’s World Music chart.

In August 2013, Chloe, after almost 10 years, moved on from Celtic Woman to pursue a solo career and has since performed alongside Paul Potts, Jack L and Claudia Boyle, appeared on the Saturday Night Show Live and released her first solo single Love is Christmas, which debuted in the top ten on iTunes.

Now working as a solo artist in LA and touring internationally with some of America’s biggest and best orchestras, Chloe is this week back on home soil and embarking on an Irish tour – which takes in the Civic Theatre in Tallaght.

Called Chloe Agnew, The Voice of Celtic Woman, the gig takes to the stage of the Tallaght theatre on Friday, October 29, at 8pm.

Tickets cost €20 and are available from www.civictheatre.ie or through calling the box office on 4627477.
