Two men hospitalised with serious injuries following assault

Gardai are investigating a serious assault that occurred in the Blackhorse area of Inchicore this morning at 6am. 

In a statement this morning, An Gardai Siochana said that two men were taken to St James’s Hospital with serious injuries.

As a result, the Luas Blackhorse Outbound was closed earlier due to a Garda directive but has currently re-opened.

According to a Garda spokesperson: “Two men have been taken to St James St Hospital with serious injuries.
