Upmarket beauty salon in Tallaght village hits the spot

A HUGE project to refurbish and develop a retail unit has seen the recent opening of a stunning new beauty salon in Tallaght village.

L’OmBré Hair and Beauty opened to the public last month, and anyone who has visited the premises on Main Road (behind Bank of Ireland) – will feel like they have been transported to another world, such is the upmarket design and scale of the massive 3,380 sq ft salon.

L’OmBré, an independent brand, employs 17 people, and whilst it is early days for the business, owner Mohamad Alkurd says the response from customers has been extremely positive.

Mr Alkurd said: “We opened on October 21, and have received a lot of compliments. I can say customers are 100 per cent satisfied with the quality of the salon, as its classified as a five-star salon with very reasonable prices.

“The salon itself required lots of work. It was a huge project, which took more than 36 weeks to complete. The 3,378.00 sq ft salon has 17 styling units, nine beauty rooms, four nail bars and two pedicure spa chairs. To the best of my knowledge, it’s the biggest salon in the Dublin area. Tattler Magazine chose us last month as one of the top 10 salons in Ireland.”

The full body experience at L’OmBré isn’t just exclusively for women – they have a whole section dedicated solely for male grooming.

Men can receive the full-body treatment or pick and choose from a range of services, including waxing, manicures and facial cleansing.

“At the moment, we are providing 136 treatments,” said Mr Alkurd.

“This includes male grooming, ladies hair, beauty, nails, tanning, advanced beauty treatment, lash bar, facial treatments, and permanent make up.

He continued: “At L’OmBré, we are committed to providing exceptional quality and superior service in a professional environment which exceeds the expectations.

“A passion for excellence and dedication to the advancement of industry standards will continue to guide the evolution of our company.”
