CLONDALKIN business co-founders of the incredibly successful business The Irish Fairy Door Company, have used their skills to create a new brand that supports children’s mental health.
Gavin and Aoife Lawler secured funding for their new Innov8 Creative Academy brand ‘Well Being Heroes’ – a children’s well being toy and gift brand, which promotes and champions children’s positive mental health through imaginative play.
The brand addresses the challenges of anxiety, worry, sleep issues, night terrors and loss whilst promoting the positives of self-esteem, self-acceptance, self-belief, diversity and independent life skills
In recent weeks, the husband and wife team have been raising equity capital on the British crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.
“We are delighted to say we reached our pre-raise target with 10 days remaining on our campaign,” said Gavin.
“This means that the raise has just entered the ‘overfunding’ stage which is hugely significant as it is the first stage on the journey to scale ‘Well Being Heroes’ globally.”
“We recently achieved vendor status with Walmart and have successfully completed our initial set of orders to Walmart selling in over 105,000 units. We are now working on the second Walmart order set. This is coupled with working with a number of global distribution partners and retailers.”
