Woman (50) arrested and cannabis worth €100,000 seized during raid in Lucan

It has been confirmed this afternoon that Cannabis with an estimated street value of €100,000 has been seized at an address in Lucan.

During a joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Ronanstown Divisional Drugs Unit, approximately 5kg of cannabis, with an estimated street value of €100,000, was seized.

A 50-year-old female was arrested by Gardai and has been detained at Lucan Garda Station under the provisions of section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.  

Investigations are continuing with a view to prosecution.
