Xquisite dancers impress at annual awards night

XQUISITE Dance held its annual awards night on Saturday and highlighted the effort and work of some 60 dancers, who were each recognised with accolades.

There were two different types of awards given out at the awards ceremony on Saturday night at the Xquisite Dance studio on the Long Mile Road in Finches Business Park.

60 dancers were awarded across with most improved, teacher recognition, people’s choice, top hip-hop, top stage school, top ballroom, and top Latin awards.

There was several dancers who did examinations and underwent assessments with the Dance Sport Federation of Ireland that were also acknowledged on the night for their results.

With around 100 members in Dublin, Xquisite Dance is continuing to impress on the national front, as well as on the global stage.

Four couples, Dane Connolly and Ava Byrne, Kai Byrne and Lily-Rose Brolan, Nathan Kelly and Lily Kelly, and Sam Crowley and Layla Kelly, recently represented Ireland at the World Championships in Blackpool.

The four couples took part in the international team match and helped Ireland to a fourth place finish overall in the Under 16s category – a great feat considering the couples are aged between 10 and 14.

Catering for children aged three up to adult, Xquisite Dance has recently opened its registration for those interested in dancing in 2023.
