It is proposed that the 1st to 9th floor of the hotel building will accommodate 242 hotel bedrooms including 17 suites, while the 10th floor will accommodate a gym/yoga studio.

The lower ground floor is to house 202 car parking spaces, 54 bicycle parking spaces, plant, stores and an ESB substation.

The ground floor is to contain a hotel entrance and reception area, a restaurant and bar, an outdoor terrace and patio with canopies, a function room, meeting rooms, a kitchen, staff facilities, stores and toilets.

The ground floor mezzanine is to accommodate meeting rooms, an admin office, store and laundry facilities.

Vehicular access to the proposed development is to be provided from both the N7 slip road and Knockmeenagh Lane with link street across the site.

Provision of upgrade works to Knockmeenagh Lane, landscaping, boundary treatment, a wastewater pumping station, associated signage and all site development works and services is included in the plans.

A decision on the application is due from the local authority by December 14.
