PLANS for 588 residential apartments at the former Chadwicks Builders Merchant site on the Greenhills Road was approved by An Coimisiún Pleanála.
Last year South Dublin County Council had approved the original planning to applicant Steeplefield Limited however other businesses within the Greenhills estate lodged appeals over the decision to locate such a significant residential development within such an industrial area.
