Body of a man discovered in the River Dodder
A Garda investigation is underway after a body was discovered in the River Dodder in the Rathfarnham area.
According to Gardai the man's body was spotted in the river by a member of the public this morning.
In a statement released this afternoon a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai in Rathfarnham have recovered a body from the River Dodder this morning.
“At approximately 10am a passer-by spotted the body in the river and alerted Gardai.
“The male body has been removed from the river with the assistance of Dublin Fire Brigade and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination.”
