Bradley School of Irish Dancing crowned All-Ireland Champions

STUDENTS from the Tallaght-based Bradley School of Irish Dancing have been crowned All Ireland champions at the Cumann Rince dea Mheasa All Ireland Championship competition.

The competition was held in the Citywest Hotel earlier this month, which saw all of the Bradley School’s young dancers making it into the top five in each of their categories, while a number of students also secured first place awards.

The competition attracted more than 800 competitors from around the country, with more than 30 children competing in each category.

Forty children from Bradley’s School of Irish Dancing competed in the competition, who ranged in age from four-years-old to 19-years-old.

Lisa Bradley, an instructor from the dance school, told The Echo: “The girls were absolutely delighted, it was a busy weekend.

“They’ve been preparing for this competition for the full year, it’s been their priority.

“It was great for them to see their hard work paying off.”
