CAB officers searching businesses and properties in South and West Dublin

Searches are currently being carried out by Gardai across the Dublin area as part of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Assets Bureau targeting organised crime.

The live operation this morning is targeting a number of premises, including motor dealerships and private homes.

In a brief statement from Gardai, a spokesperson said: “Members of the bureau assisted by the Emergency Response Unit, Armed Support Unit, Special Crime Task Force and local Gadra Units are carrying out searches at a number of premises and locations in south and west Dublin.

“The premises being targeted include motor dealerships and private homes.”
