Call for sustainable funding for voluntary organisations
The national association of charities in Ireland has called on the Government to deliver sustainable and equitable funding for community and voluntary organisations.
The Wheel told a Department of Social Protection pre-budget forum of the need to improve funding of these organisations, including of their members in Tallaght, Clondalkin and other local areas, to ensure that they can continue to provide services on behalf of the state.
