Circuit Court trial for Clondalkin man on burglary charge

A MAN accused of breaking into Moyle Park College in Clondalkin will be tried in the Circuit Court.

Gary Royal, aged 49, with an address at Mill Park, Old Nangor Road, Clondalkin, is charged with burglary at Moyle Park College, Convent Road, Clondalkin, on October 13, 2015.

He is also charged with damaging the front entrance door of the gymnasium at Moyle Park College also on October 13, 2015.

The presenting sergeant gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution by certificate for Royal to Judge David McHugh.

A solicitor for the DPP told Judge McHugh that the DPP had directed trial on indictment.

She asked for a remand for six weeks for service of the book of evidence. Royle’s solicitor consented to a longer remand.

Judge McHugh remanded Royle on continuing bail to a date in January for service of the book of evidence.
