Two Clondalkin men charged with assault on other man

TWO MEN charged with seriously assaulting another man in Neilstown last year will be tried in the Circuit Court, Blanchardstown Court has heard.

Craig O’Brien, aged 21, and Michael Harte, aged 19, both with different addresses at Rowlagh Avenue, Clondalkin, are charged with assaulting a named male causing him harm at Neilstown Shops, Neilstown Road, Clondalkin, on November 30, 2015.

The presenting sergeant gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution by certificate for O’Brien and Harte to Judge David McHugh.

A solicitor for the DPP told Judge McHugh that the DPP had directed trial on indictment.

Judge McHugh remanded O’Brien and Harte on continuing bail for six weeks for service of the book of evidence.
