Clondalkin DJ steps into the night with new release

“IT’S ABOUT creating an otherworldly tension on the dancefloor—bluring the lines between human emotion and late-night synthetic spaces.”

Following the international success of his recent reimagining of ‘Your Loving Arms’, Clondalkin DJ, producer, and voice-over artist Philip Galvin wades into darker territory with his upcoming single, ‘Into The Night’.

Written and produced on June 5, ‘Into The Night’ marks a “hypnotic” evolution in Galvin’s signature sound.

Built around a minimalist bassline and atmospheric production, the single captures a “thrilling” sense of suspense designed for club dancefloors and late-night airwaves.

Philip adds his own vocal cues as he recommends listening closely for a “deeply immersive” touch; interwoven throughout the production are his own “echoing whispers guiding you deep into the groove”.

Having had the experience of voicing over sketches since 1997, Philip thought it would be a good idea to add his voice to this song.

“The response to ‘Your Loving Arms’ from local listeners and international press was incredible,” says Galvin.

With ‘Into The Night,’ he wanted to explore a “moodier, more atmospheric” side of electronic music, as he shifts to deep house.

He wanted to push his “creative boundaries” and “break all the rules to deliver absolute uniqueness every single time, rather than getting boxed into just one specific sound”.

The driving beat of the song and the repetition of the words “As we go, into the night” sounded “incredibly catchy” to Philip, and to really heighten the suspense, he then added another repetitive vocal layer: ‘Watching you!’

‘Into The Night’ is Philip’s most ambitious project yet, with an animated music video to accompany the single, raving that he is “lucky” to work with one of the “best music video producers out there”.

The video sees Philip as the main character exploring a haunted forest, surrounded by small dark creatures with green eyes, and himself wearing a Cyberpunk Cyborg Half-Mask with a green eye.

For him, the idea behind this came from himself having green eyes, and the t-shirt his character is wearing is also a common theme in the first few videos he did; this was done purposely in building this character into the animation for continuity.

Philip is also happy to announce that he is remixing a Shakin’ Stevens song from 1983 and turning it into a dance tune.

“This one I am particularly looking forward to, and I am confident it will resonate with a lot of people, both old and young alike!”

The music video for it is expected to release in January or February 2027.

Separately, he will also be doing a cover of a well-known KYGO song with a brand-new male vocalist.

They will be releasing it in early 2027, along with more details on his new horror thriller book that is now complete.

As a qualified radio DJ certified in advanced broadcasting, Philip continues to establish himself as a “highly versatile” force in the Irish electronic scene.

He would like to thank his Spirit Guides, The Echo, Hamza, and his loyal followers, including the ones who have supported him from the start on my Comedy Voice Over YouTube channel.

Philip also gives a special shout out to Jay on YouTube (@JayoLegend7).

‘Into The Night’ was released on October 15 and is currently available to listen to on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.

The 4k animated music video is currently available to watch on YouTube.
