SMALL businesses, self-employed entrepreneurs, and start-ups are being supported to get their ventures off the ground, through a useful hotdesk facility at Ace Enterprise Park in Clondalkin.

The shared office space environment is a huge benefit for start-ups, to develop their business without facing the crippling high costs of rent, rates and bills.

Ace Enterprise Park, a community based enterprise centre in Bawnogue, provide hotdesks to a range of clients – which can be hired for up to two years, from €99 per month.

This flexible feature, provides clients, such as Hippo EdTech owner Niamh Kelly, to reduce start-up costs and locate their business in a professional environment.

“Finding a place like Ace, to hire a hot desk has been hugely beneficial for my startup,” said Tallaght native Kelly.

Kelly’s mobile app Hippo EdTech helps international students improve their english for university studies and future careers.

Niamh continued: “Ace’s location facilitates people from surrounding areas and the reasonable costs encourage people with new businesses by providing conference space and a business address. Being from Tallaght, the proximity to Ace has greatly reduced my costs and travel time, as I no longer need to go to the city centre to access hot desk space.

“The modern and spacious feel make it an enjoyable place to be and there is a great community atmosphere. For any new companies starting out, business training courses are also available and everyone is happy to share advice and give support.Without Ace, it would be a lot more difficult to get Hippo EdTech off the ground.”
