A WOMAN charged with stealing two rent allowance cheques totalling over €1,500 had her case remanded for disclosure by Blanchardstown Court.

The court had previously accepted jurisdiction in Winnie Collins’ case.

Tallaght Court House 4

Collins, aged 36, with an address at Palmerstown Woods, Clondalkin, is charged with stealing a rental cheque for €789.70 at the above address on a date between March 29 and April 4, 2016.

She is also charged with stealing a rental cheque for €789.70 at the above address on a date between February 23 and February 29, 2016.

The court had heard that it will be alleged that Collins stole two cheques for just over €1,500.

The case was before Judge David McHugh for disclosure from the state.

Collins’ solicitor, John O’Doherty said that he had not received disclosure.

Judge McHugh said he would remand the case for a month for disclosure.

He remanded Collins on continuing bail to a date in February for disclosure to be produced and made it peremptory against the state.
