DFB help Tallaght mother deliver baby boy on bridge over N7

Dublin Fire Brigade were called upon to help in the delivery of a baby, with units from Tallaght responding to a call from a Tallaght mother in labour last night.

The crew from Tallaght fire station collected the expectant mother from a house in Jobstown and made their way to the Coombe Hospital, but had to stop on route as the baby could not wait any longer.

An advanced paramedic delivered the boy in the ambulance on the bridge at Kingswood, over the Naas Road.

Thankfully both mother and child are doing well in the Coombe Hospital today.
