CHARITY: THE North Clondalkin community of Harelawn last week rallied to support a family stricken with tragedy – and raised a substantial amount of money to help with funeral costs. Harelawn Avenue resident Gareth (Garzy) O’Connor (27) who sustained a serious head injury at Cow’s Lane in Temple Bar last week, and passed away in St James Hospital. A SPECIAL MAN: TALLAGHT lost a great servant with the death last week of Paddy Brien from Avonmore Drive. Originally from Crumlin, Paddy and his family moved to the United States where he worked for a period of time. He then returned to Crumlin and later moved to Avonmore in 1970. Read more HERE

MOST SHARED: There was huge reaction online to the news that tenancy warnings were issued to seven families in the Harelawn estate – whilst a further three tenancy warnings were currently being issued to families whose household members are involved in anti-social behaviour. Read more HERE

SPORT: TALLAGHT Martial Arts’ annual Open Kickboxing Tournament yet again attracted a strong turnout including local competi-tors from Bushido Clondalkin, Black Pan-thers and GMA Martial Arts as well as the host club. Read more HERE
