GARDAI are not treating the discovery of a man’s body in Bluebell this morning as suspicious.

The discovery was made by a resident at Le Touche Court, next to the football pitch, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Sinn Féin TD Aengus O’Snodaigh expressed his condolences for the deceased man, believed to be a Polish national in his 60s, who had been living in Ireland for more than a decade.

“Locals are speculating that he went for a walk last night and may have fallen. They only just found the body this morning, and have it covered up and cordoned it off,” said Deputy O’Snodaigh.

The deceased was understood to be a resident of the local sheltered accommodation complex.
