Dublin Bus drivers to strike for six days in September

Unions representing Dublin Bus drivers have this morning announced that their members will go on strike for six days in September.

The 48-hour work stoppages are set top take place on September 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 23rd and 24th.

Unions representing some 3,200 workers handed in notice of industrial action this morning.

A dispute over pay has been ongoing for several months, with drivers already rejecting a Labour Court recommended 8.2% increase.
