Firearm, ammunition and €5k of cannabis seized in Tallaght Garda operation

Gardaí seized a firearm, ammunition and over €5,000 worth of cannabis in a bag in Tallaght on Tuesday evening.

Gardaí on patrol in the Tallaght area investigating suspected criminal activity located a bag which contained a handgun and ammunition, shotgun cartridges and approximately €5,600 worth of cannabis.

Gardaí stated that items seized and will be subject to forensic analysis. Investigations are ongoing.
