Foróige Tallaght to stage fun run fundraiser in Tymon Park
By Jennifer Garton
Foróige Tallaght are hosting a fun run in association with Fit4Less. The event takes place on Saturday March 12 at 11am in Tymon Park. All funds raised go to Foróige Tallaght.
Registration will be available on the day from 10am and under 18s can only register on the day - if you would like to pre-register, it will also be available online.
Parking, chip timed results and refreshments will all be available in the park at the event. Foroige suggests that the event could also be an opportunity for a club or group you work with to raise funds through sponsorship.
Foróige is Ireland’s leading youth development organisation and has been working with young people since 1952.
Its purpose is to enable young people to involve themselves in their community. Foróige Tallaght works with 5,500 young people between 10 and 18 years old and 450 volunteers each year through volunteer-led clubs and staff-led youth projects.
Foróige Tallaght Fundraising Team would also like to thank everyone for their support. Online registration can be found on www.popupraces.ie
