Fundraising drive for Tallaght’s Brian Slattery reaches halfway point

The fundraising drive for Tallaght man Brian Slattery reached the halfway point on Sunday, with more than €70,000 of the €140,000 target now raised.

Brian, from Aylesbury, is in urgent need of a cancer drug that could potentially save his life, and since last Monday the Tallaght community and people from much further afield have been donating what they can to the cause.

Many of Brian’s family and friends have also launched individual fundraising campaigns for Brian, with two large events scheduled for June 23 in the Maldron in Tallaght and in Newbridge GAA Club, which you can book tickets for HERE.

Others will be running the Dublin Half Marathon in aid of Brian’s fundraising drive, while a charity auction via the Brian’s Lifesaving Treatment Fund Facebook page has been ongoing since the weekend.
