Gardai seize vehicles, cash and jewellery during CAB searches across south and west Dublin
Gardai seized vehicles, cash and jewellery on Tuesday during searches led by the Criminal Assets Bureau across South and West Dublin.
Bank accounts belonging to those targeted in the raids were also frozen as part of ongoing investigations.
The searches took place at businesses, including car dealerships, homes and offices at locations across Clondalkin, Ballyfermot, Lucan and Rathcoole.
Up to 20 vehicles were seized at locations including garages in Bluebell, Ballymount and Ballyfermot, while two homes in Clondalkin were some of up to 10 houses raided by CAB.
The operation was targeting criminal gangs who are believed to be using businesses for the purpose of money laundering.
