Got Talent Finale: Annual show held in Scoil Aonghusa

THE ANNUAL Scoil Aonghusa’s Got Talent grand final took place last week with special guest Baz Ashmawy as one of the judges.

The school had 17 acts in our final, 18 including the Wild Card act which consisted of the schools SNA’s dancing to Cotton eyed Joe and Beyonce’s ‘Texas Hold ‘Em.

The SNA’s even managed to get guest judge Baz Ashmawy to join them on stage taking on the role of cowboy.

There was four amazing judges join on the day including Lea Carroll, SJ from ‘Curtain’s Up’ drama school, Ellenbeth Morris and celebrity judge Baz Ashmawy. There was great excitement in school over the past two months in the build up to our final.

The student Council wrote a persuasive letter telling Baz all about the wonderful school and it worked as Baz very kindly accepted our invitation to judge.

Bobby was the junior talent show winner, with his contemporary dance and Holly was our Senior talent show winner performing a show dance.
