JobPath helps over 900 to find work in Clondalkin

OVER 900 people in Clondalkin have found employment via the JobPath service for the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP).

Seetec Ireland, contracted by the DEASP to deliver JobPath, confirmed it has helped over 900 people in Clondalkin into full-time and part-time employment.

Figures released by Seetec showed its Clondalkin team has helped 854 people in the community secure full-time employment, and 80 into part-time work.

Seetec Ireland is an Irish branch of Seetec, one of the UK’s largest jobsearch and training specialists.

It has established Irish branches around the country, including a Clondalkin centre at Westland Business Park, on the Nangor Road, which was set up in June 2016.

Its Clondalkin office has so far partnered with more than 600 businesses in the area.

The JobPath service aims to help the long-term unemployed back into work. 

Seetec supports service users with careers guidance, self-employment advice, CV support, as well as interview and IT training.

Justin Mulhern, Business Manager at Seetec Clondalkin said: “We’ve worked hard to become a valuable part of the community here in Clondalkin. It’s very satisfying to be able to make a real impact in our customers’ lives and also to provide an important service to businesses throughout the area. Our hard-working staff is fully focused on continuing to make this contribution.”

A partnership between Seetec and Concentrix since 2016, has led to more than 100 people being hired by the customer service business.
