League success for St Mary’s J5’s

ST MARY'S Rugby Club J5’s tasted league title success at the weekend of March 30, when they defeated Kilkenny side Norman’s in the Division 11 final.

It was a hard fought match with both sides giving it their all, but by the final whistle, Mary’s clinched the league title by a 29-25 scoreline.

St Mary's J5's lifted the Division 11 title

St Mary’s J3 side were hoping to lift the Metro League Division 5 title, after a brilliant season took them to the final, where they faced a tough Naas side.

Sadly they were beaten 5-0 in a very tight match, but the Templeogue men can very much hold their heads up high having got that far in the competition.

The Templeville Road Club’s impressive run of form continued after their J4’s beat Coolmine to make the Division 6 final, in what is further testament to the enormous time and effort the volunteer coaches and other support staff give week in week out.
