Litter Mugs bring sensory garden in Sean Walsh Park back to life

The sensory garden in Sean Walsh Park has never looked so good thanks to the work of the Litter Mugs this week.

The garden, which won an award at the St John Of God Innovations Awards in 2010 had fallen into a neglected state, despite calls for the council to address the issue, so the Litter Mugs took it upon themselves to bring it back to life.

The garden appeals to all senses and is accessible to the entire community, and the amazing work by the Litter Mugs this week means the space is again back to its best.

The volunteer-led group have been working to tirelessly in Sean Walsh Park – organising regular litter collections and clean-up days – and they have also been calling on the council to do more with one of Tallaght’s best assets.

If you area in Sean Walsh Park this weekend why not drop in to the sensory garden and check out the group’s great work.
