Lucan special needs school to be established by next September

A school for students with special needs will be established in Lucan by next September as announced by Minister for Education Norma Foley and Minister for Special Education and Inclusion Hildegarde Naughton.

While further details on the precise location are still being finalised, it is known that the school will be established by repurposing an existing building, to accelerate the delivery of a long-awaited service.
