Man (33) in serious condition in hospital after Crumlin Road crash

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision on the Crumlin Road yesterday, which has left one man in a serious condition in Hospital.

The incident happened at approximately at 4:40pm on Friday when a motorbike and a car collided.

A male (33) motorcyclist was seriously injured in the collision and was removed to St James’ Hospital where he is said to be in a serious condition.

The woman who was driving the car was uninjured.

In a statement released to Echo.ie this morning a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating a serious injury RTC that occurred on Crumlin Road this afternoon, Friday 2nd June, 2017 at approximately 4.40p.m. 

“A car and motorbike collided and the motorcyclist (male 33 years) was removed to St James Hospital and is in a serious condition. The female car driver was uninjured.

“Gardaí are appealing to any persons who may have witnessed the collision or can assist them to contact Sundrive Road Garda Station at 01-6666600, the confidential line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
