Man shot in Clondalkin

A man has been shot in the Clondalkin.
The 23-year-old was found in a house at Old Tower Crescent at around 6am this morning with injuries suspected to have been caused by a gun shot.
He is receiving treatment at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown for what are being described as non-life threatening injuries.
A Garda investigation has been launched however no arrests have been made as of yet.
Gardai remain on high alert this weekend throughout Dublin as the funeral of David Byrne, who was gunned down in the Regency Hotel attack more than a week ago, takes place tomorrow.
A large amount of armed garda are on the streets of the capital as they attmept to saturate the area and put a stop to any further attacks.
