Mattress amnesty to take place at locations across county

A MATTRESS amnesty will take place at locations around the county in August and September, courtesy of South Dublin County Council.

Collections will take place between 9.30am and 12 noon on the following dates.

• Wednesday, August 9 – AGP0 (Lucan Harriers) Car Park, Newcastle Road, Lucan.
• Wednesday, August 16 – Tymon Park Car Park, Limekiln Road.
• Wednesday, August 23 –Quarryvale Community Centre Car Park, Greenfort Gardens.
• Wednesday, August 30 – Rathcoole Community Centre Car Park, Rathcoole.
• Wednesday, September 6 – Tymon Park Car Park, Castletymon Road.
• Wednesday, September 20 –Killinarden Community Centre Car Park, Killinarden.

Alternatively, mattresses or waste electrical and electronic equipment can be dropped off Monday to Friday, from 10am to 1pm, or on Saturdays (August 19 and 26, September 2 and 9) from 9.30am to 12 noon at Recycle IT Facility at Crag Terrace, Clondalkin Industrial Estate.
