Miele, whose other previous clubs include Bluebell United and English side Newcastle United which he spent four years at, and former Aston Villa and Shamrock Rovers man Drennan will compete with the likes of Gary Shaw for a place in the Saints' attack.

The duo join the likes of fellow recent signings Dave Webster (Waterford United), Ciarán Kelly (Drogheda United), Cian Coleman (Limerick), Georgie Poynton (Dundalk) and Gary Shaw (Shamrock Rovers) in the Saints' squad for the 2019 season.

Speaking to stpatsfc.com about the move to Richmond Park, Miele said “I’m delighted to join Pat’s for the coming season. Obviously it’s Harry’s first year at the club and he’s trying to build a squad here.

“Harry showed me his aims and his plans for next season and they really impressed me so obviously it’s great to be a part of that and help the team do their best.”

Drennan echoed those thoughts, saying: “I had a good few offers which I didn’t really expect, but I am delighted to sign here for Pat’s for the season.”
