Mill Centre in €150m take over
The well-known shopping centre is being sold by Savills and Bannon as part of an investment portfolio which was put on the market for €120 million in September.
The Mill was placed in receivership in 2013 when Lloyds Bank appointed Grant Thornton as receivers of the centre, which was previously owned by Liam Carroll.
On Wednesday Savills confirmed that talks are at an “advanced stage” with the preferred bidder for the Spectrum Portfolio which also includes offices at the Ninth Lock and five other shopping centres in Dun Laoghaire, Kilbarrack, Cork, Louth and Sligo.
