Mixed fortunes for IT Tallaght

THERE were mixed fortunes for IT Tallaght GAA Club as their fresher footballers beat Cork IT  7-14 to 4-12, while their senior team lost out by two points to DCU on a score line of 3-12 to 3-10 in Kiltipper last week.

Among the performers who stood out for Tallaght in the fresher game were Aaron Bradshaw from Ballinteer, Cian Byrne of Thomas Davis and Cian Bates from Ballyboden.

In the senior game there were good performances from Evan Mullally from Enfield, Tony Archbold, Celbridge, Sean O Toole of St Marys and Dan Galvin from St Annes, but it was not enough to see them take something from this highly-entertaining match.
