MOYLE Park College raised over €5,500 by taking part in Darkness into Light for Pieta House.

Parents, students and teachers of the Clondalkin school braved the wet and windy weather last Saturday, May 8 and came out in the early hours of the morning to take part in a sunrise walk to raise awareness and funds for mental health charity, Pieta House.

The college’s efforts paid off as they managed to raise over €5,500 – which will be donated to Pieta House to support their hard work and services in suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

“A huge thank you to everyone who donated and walked with us on Saturday. Looking forward to next year already”, said the school.

The huge effort also led to the school being awarded its first Amber Flag in recognition of all the support and services available to the students in the school.
