Negotiations for new pub on Belgard site close to conclusion
Lidl are close to securing a deal with a hospitality vendor to fill the planned pub site at their €12m Cookstown complex to replace The Belgard Inn.
The Belgard Inn was located at the Cookstown Road/Old Belgard Road junction and closed down in 2018 to make way for the new Lidl complex to serve the local area, but a condition was placed in the planning permission to provide for a replacement pub for nearby residents.
