New multi-denominational Gaelscoil to open in Citywest

A NEW multi-denominational Gaelscoil is set to open in Citywest this September, reports Aimee Walsh.
An Foras Pátrúnachta will open Gaelscoil Lir in September 2021 to cater for the Citywest, Saggart and Newcastle area.
A new multi-denominational school will open at this site on Fortunestown Lane
The unique school is a co-ed, multi-denominational and multilingual Gaelscoil which will be temporarily located on the same site as Rathcoole Educate Together and Cólaiste Pobail Fóla on Fortunestown Lane, facing the Saggart Luas stop.
Planning permission for a permanent building which will house Gaelscoil Lir has been granted and construction is due to commence this year on the same campus.
