Now and Then bring Godspell to the Priory

THE Now and Then Production Company is bringing Broadway hit musical Godspell to St Mary's Priory, Tallaght Village, on March 8 for a four-night run.

A multi-denominational youth and adult music and drama group, the Now and Then Production Company stages musicals and plays with a religious theme each year in St Mary’s Priory.

The group welcomes members of all ages from across the greater Tallaght area and membership is free – with ticket sales, fundraising, advertising and sponsorship funding the group.

With 26 years of experience on stage, Now and Then is back in St Mary’s with its vibrant production of Godspell – which enjoyed long running success after first opening on Broadway in 1971.

Set in today’s world, Godspell is a contemporary music representation of the Gospels of Matthew and Luke – with the cast singing their way through the best wisdom the bible has to offer.

Now and Then Production 14

According to Now and Then, the show remains as vibrant, fresh and new as it was on its opening night as it challenges production companies to use their imagination and creativity to give audiences a great night of entertainment.

This challenge is relished by the local theatre company, which believes that the production will have audiences wishing they were “up there” with them.

Godspell runs at St Mary’s Priory from 8 to 11 March.

Doors open at 7.30pm, show starts at 8pm sharp and tickets cost €10 for adults, €5 for children and €5 concession.
