Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, recycle your Christmas tree

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, recycle your Christmas tree

By Brendan Grehan

The free Christmas Tree Recycling Service, provided by South Dublin County Council, will end tomorrow (Friday 12 January).

Signage is placed at the various locations indicating that it is an official recycling point.

Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin Mid-West, John Curran, is calling on local residents to use the free service, which has 21 locations across South County Dublin, before it ends.

He said: “I am calling on all local residents to make use of the free service, to find out where their local drop off centre is and to be aware of the closing date this week on Friday 12th.

“One tree per vehicle will be accepted and official signage from South Dublin County Council will point to the drop off point at each location.”
