By Echo Reporter

TALLAGHT Hospital has lodged an application for refurbishments to its chaplaincy department corridor to facilitate pedestrian access to the Tallaght Hospital Luas stop.

The Echo previously reported on plans to refurbish the corridor, after a planning notice for the pedestrian access lobby was erected at the hospital.

The application, which was submitted on May 23, is for “refurbishment works at existing Chaplaincy Department corridor at ground floor located at the SW of the campus at Tallaght Hospital”.

The refurbishment will “provide a new pedestrian access lobby linking to the existing LUAS stop”.

Third party submissions on the application will be accepted until June 27, with a decision from South Dublin County Council due by July 17.
