Residents say TDs votes ‘sends a clear message on their priorities’
A Saggart residents’ group has criticised Dublin Mid-West TDs for voting against a measure that would have increased community engagement around new IPAS centres.
An amendment to the International Protection Bill 2026 that would have required community impact assessments prior to location of international protection accommodation centres was voted down by TDs in the Dáil on February 25.
