Serious delays on Naas Road inbound due to vehicle on fire

There are serious delays on the Naas Road inbound this morning due to several incidents, including a vehicle on fire near the Rathcoole exit.

According to the AA, an incident involving a broken down bus between junction six (Castlewarden) and junction five (Athgoe) has now been cleared, but delays remain.

Added to this, a vehicle on fire between junction five (Athgoe) and junction four (Rathcoole) is now causing major delays, with tailbacks on the N7 stretching back as far as Naas.

Motorists are advised to take care on the road as emergency services deal with the incident.
