Sharon opens new Peachylean pop-up store in Dundrum Centre

TALLAGHT entrepreneur Sharon Keegan has opened a pop-up store for her women’s clothing products – Peachylean – at Dundrum Town Centre.

The shop opened last week and will be in place until the end of January.

Keegan, an award winning entrepreneur who runs her business from Walkinstown, has seen her products exported to the US, Canada, UK, and endorsed by Irish celebs including Síle Seoige and new mum Vogue Williams.

Peachyleans sells custom made workout leggings and bras for women.

Originally from Springfield, Sharon experienced post-natal depression after giving birth to the first of her two boys Liam in 2015.

Relieving stress in a local gym which had a creche, she took up Olympic weightlifting but couldn’t find appropriate gym gear for her “mum tum.”

This led to her developing a business idea, and Sharon decided to go back and study Innovation and Entrepreneurship in UCD.

This helped her to not only overcome her anxiety and postnatal depression, but also compelled her to help other women who were going through similar experiences.

The company has gone from strength to strength over the years, picking up a number of awards along the way.

In April 2021, Keegan appeared on the BBC Dragons’ Den series, securing a £100,000 investment for Peachylean, with Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Tej Lalvani all coming on board for a 30 per cent stake in the business.

What started as a kitchen table idea, continues to grow and gain momentum as a global brand.
