Takeda expansion will see 40 new jobs coming to Clondalkin

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited are set to invest €40m in a new production facility at its Grange Castle site in Dublin, creating 40 new jobs

The investment by Takeda will expand their Grange Castle site’s existing footprint, with the construction of a new standalone high containment production facility dedicated to manufacturing its oncology product NINLAROTM for global markets.

The investment will create approximately 40 new jobs and is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

The largest pharmaceutical company in Japan and a global industry leader, Takeda first set up operations in Ireland in 1997 manufacturing products for global markets.

In 2002 Takeda chose Dublin as the location for its first active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) facility outside of Japan.
