Tallaght man to appear on Winning Streak this weekend
A Tallaght man will be trying his luck on Winning Streak this weekend, with his family and friends cheering him on from the sidelines.
Tom Wynne (46), from Aylesbury, will appear on the RTÉ show on Saturday and said he is ‘thrilled to be so lucky to appear on the show’.
Mr. Wynne said that with Christmas coming up and two sets of college fees due, a possible windfall from Winning Streak could not come at a better time.
The train driver has been working with Irish Rail for the past 27 years and has been married to wife Lorraine for 22 years.
The Wynnes have three children: Carl (33), Alan (28) and Chloe (20) who will be cheering on their father in the audience, alongside other family and friends from Tallaght.
He said he also hopes to take wife Lorraine on a Mediterranean cruise.
Mr. Wynne will appear on our screens at 8:30pm on Saturday, November 11th, where hosts Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy will guide five contestants through the show.
Winning Streak will feature games such as; Fantastic Five, High Low Share, Wheel Reveal and the Grand Prize Wheel, giving one lucky player a chance to win up to €500,000.
A player will also be drawn as the winner of a luxury cruise for two valued at €5,000 on each week of the show.
