Tallaght Court June 2016

Fay, aged 21, with an address at Cushlawn Park, Tallaght, had pleaded guilty to damaging the front windscreen of a Dublin Bus at Killinarden Heights, Tallaght, on April 1, 2015.

The court had heard that on April 1, 2015, Fay was refused entry onto a bus that had stopped in Killinarden Heights. Fay then threw a bag at the front windscreen of the bus, smashing it.

The CCTV footage showed that the bag contained a number of beer cans. The damage to the bus came to €500.

Fay was before Judge Patricia McNamara for mention. Judge McNamara noted that Fay had taken a bench warrant in July.

Fay’s solicitor, Michael Hennessy, asked the judge to remand the case for a probation report.

Judge McNamara remanded Fay on continuing bail for four weeks for a probation report.
