Teenagers are forced to travel to 34 different secondary schools

THE lack of a secondary school in the expanding village of Newcastle shows there’s a “feudal approach” to planning, said a councillor.

Following a town hall meeting where 200 residents raised the issue in October, South Dublin County Council wrote to the Minister of Education and the main Party Leaders to express Newcastle people’s need once again.
